Westchester Christian School is an independent, non-denominational ministry of the Westchester Bible Church. Our purpose is to help parents in the raising of their children, from Kindergarten through High School, in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. We are dedicated to an academically solid and Biblically sound education for children. We are committed to training them with a Christian worldview. The academics are based on an curriculum called Ignitia by Alpha Omega. This system serves students of all academic abilities. A student not only gains an academic education but also self-confidence by successfully completing material personalized to challenge his intellect. Incorporated into the academic materials are Biblical truths, which form the solid foundation for true education. As the student progresses through his academic subjects he is exposed to Biblical truths of salvation, courtesy, honesty, and respect for others and many more. Combining an individualized academics program with a Biblical foundation reaps the result of students being well trained for a quality life of serving the Lord. Vision Statement:

Educating and Equipping the Next Generation for God and for Life.

What We Believe:

The Bible is…
*the inerrant, infallible word of God
*the final authority under God in our life
*the Book of Life

The Bible Teaches that:
*the one God eternal exists in three persons: Father, Son, Holy Spirit
*Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God
*this Jesus, who died, rose again, and ascended to heaven, will personally and imminently return
*everyone will be physically resurrected to an eternal heaven or hell
*everyone is a sinner by nature and is in need of a Savior
*one obtains eternal life only by the grace of God through personal faith in Jesus Christ whose substitutionary death paid for one’s sin
*one is eternally secure having trusted in Christ as the only means of salvation

Educational System:

Westchester Christian School is a Christian School and not a reform school, meaning we are all followers of Jesus Christ and we believe that the Bible is God-inspired, authoritative revelation for all areas of life.  We will teach and apply these truths hoping that our students will make the same profession. WCS offers a Christ-centered, biblically-based education from Preschool through High School. The school uses primarily the Ignitia curriculum, which is a proven effective tool for learning.

Why the Curriculum Works:

  1. Integration of Biblical principles and Godly character training.
  2. Mastery-based and individualized learning.
  3. Built-in reinforced system of learning.
  4. Development of critical thinking skills.
  5. Socialization and leadership.
  6. Ministry preparedness and experience.
  7. Current events and Christian apologetics.
  8. A holistic- approach education.
  9. Low student-teacher ratio.

The Westchester Christian School is a ministry of the Westchester Bible Church with an annual budget dependent upon the tuition of the students and gifts of friends for operating expenses.  While maintaining a quality education, we strive to keep costs at a minimum.

The Initial Registration Fee/Annual Re-enrollment Fee, Stanford 10 Testing Fee, and Curriculum/Technology Fee are due upon enrollment/re-enrollment ($435 per student). All other fees will be rolled in with your monthly tuition. For your convenience, you may choose one of four payment plans:

Please check which payment plan would be best for you:

Plan A:  10 monthly payments of $380 (August – May).

Plan B:  4 quarterly payments of $950 (August, November, January, and April)

Plan C:  2 payments of $1,900 (August and January).

Plan D:  Full payment for the year of $3,800 (August).  A 5-percent discount will be given if turned in by August 20  ($3,610).
This plan does not require a family to register with FACTS.

There will be no deductions in tuition payments for vacations or illnesses. If payments are continually delinquent or are not paid then special permission must be obtained for your child to remain in school.  The administration’s decision on this will be final.  Should a student withdraw for any reason after three full weeks following his/her enrollment/re-enrollment then all annual fees are due and are to be paid in full. The school year is planned in advance with a place reserved for your child.  The teachers are hired and the materials are ordered with your child in mind. All records, report cards, and transcripts will be withheld until all school tuition and fees are paid in full. All Paces are the property of the Westchester Christian School.

I understand that it is critical to the school ministry that all tuition and other charges be paid promptly.  I agree to give this financial obligation top priority and realize that my failure to keep my financial commitment could affect the re-enrollment of my child.

    3. Any exceptions to (1) require that parents meet with Finance Committee members to agree to acceptable arrangements.
    4. Failure to submit a plan, failure to reach acceptable arrangements with the Finance Committee, or failure to comply with a plan may result in dismissal of the family’s students.

    2. If the balance is ten percent (10%) of the family’s annual cost or more, the family must submit an agreement for payment to the Business Office which will include bringing the balance below ten percent (10%) of the family’s annual cost prior to the beginning of the next school year.  The agreement must also include payment of the remaining balance through a regular monthly payment amount which will be paid in addition to the tuition for the next year to ensure that the total is paid in full by the end of the next school year.  The family must sign a FACTS Automatic Tuition Payment Agreement that legally binds the family to that payment amount until the total is paid off.
    3. All agreements pursuant to (1) and (2), above, must be submitted prior to August 1.  The Finance Committee must approve all agreements.  Students will not be allowed to attend classes in the fall unless (1) or (2), above, are satisfied.
Westchester Christian School will be using FACTS Tuition Management System to collect tuition for the 2016-2017 school year.  FACTS is a tuition management program that auto-drafts tuition payments from your bank account.

Families will be able to choose from several payment options: 2 times a year, 4 times a year, or a 10 month plan.  Families will also select a date for the auto-draft: the 5th or 20th of the month.  Each WCS family will be required to enroll in the FACTS program.  Families can enroll with FACTS at any time by clicking on the FACTS logo.

When you enroll, you will be scheduling your first payment for August for the upcoming school year.  In July each family will receive their full tuition balance.  Once that balance has been determined, having taken into consideration financial aid, pre-payments, etc., the business office will complete your FACTS agreement.
